Dear friends,
Believe it or not, we’ve now been around for half a year. First, we’d like to say thank you to our wonderful contributors, faithful subscribers, and everyone who has taken a chance and sent us something to read. This project does not exist without any of you.
So, what we’d like to do to celebrate is host what we’re calling a “Happy Hour” with all of our contributors and paid subscribers. It will happen on Saturday, July 29th at 8:00 PM EST. And it will be via Zoom for probably about an hour or so.
We’d like to hear from you about all things Wrong Turn Lit and chat about what’s going on: swap thoughts on the stories, publishing, books, whatever you like. We’ll also share our top secret plans for the future of the project.
If you’re not currently a paid subscriber, there’s never been a better time to sign up! It’s $5 a month or $50 for the year, and all of that money goes towards the project, bringing you more stories, interviews, and hopefully, more events like these.
And…as you can see from the above photo, we’ve started doing merch! If you’re interested in purchasing one of these cute mugs, you can do so here. Again, all of the proceeds go into the project.
Paid subscribers: you’ll see a separate email with a Zoom link for the Happy Hour once it gets closer to time.
Any questions, feel free to shoot us an email or leave a comment below. We’re excited to share a drink and hang out with y’all, and we’ll have a brand-new story for you to read tomorrow morning, as usual.
From the bottom of our cold, dead hearts,
-The Wrong Turners
Dear Wrong Turn,
It's because of what to expect when you're expecting the expected and get otherwise that I subscribed. I'm not a contributor but you send stuff that inspires so maybe sometime I can warp some thing I'm writing and take a wrong turn myself. I'm curious about what has made you different, dear editor. I won't be at your ZOOM but would you consider putting it into words and sending it out to subscribers? ... Rita Stevens
