Wrong Turn Lit. is a biweekly literary journal that aims to encourage and publish risky fiction and nonfiction.

Mission: To publish based on quality of story and language above all else, no matter how “wrong” someone (anyone) may feel about that.

How it works: new stories are published biweekly on Mondays. Those are for everyone.

Bonus content—interviews, editorials, whatever else—we usually post on Fridays. All of that is for our paid subscribers.

Paid subscriptions start at $5 a month. For that, you’ll receive the bonus content, the ability to comment on pieces, and chat with us about the issues, literature, and whatever else we want.

Annual Members, in addition to all of the above, will receive invites to launches (virtual & in-person), conversations between our editors about what we like, don’t like, want to see, are reading, and whatever else we can think of to thank you for supporting independent literature.
